The Scrip program is back. Purchase your gift cards through our school. We have hundreds of vendors to choose from. Simply fill out the scrip form and send it to school with your child and in a few weeks your gift card will arrive. You will be helping the school to raise money. When you buy from Stop & Shop, our school earns money through the program called A Plus Bonus Bucks! Sign up with your Stop & Shop card at www.stopandshop.com/aplus or contact the school office and we can help register your card for you!

Can Drive
See that counter above? That is the number of beverage cans and bottles that have been landfilled, littered, and incinerated in the U.S. this year so far! Let's join to together to reduce waste by sending your clean, 5 cent returnable aluminum cans and glass bottles to Mrs. Morell's 1st grade class so they can raise money for this year's annual Earth Day project. Your donations will help to keep our school grounds looking beautiful by helping to pay for new spring flowers, mulch, pea stone, trees, etc.......................................................................
Box Tops 4 Education
Be sure to keep clipping those box tops and sending them to Mrs.
Balogh's 4th grade class. All box tops will earn our school money
for supplies. Just look for the
Box Tops
logo on hundreds of products in almost every aisle of the store. All you
need to do is clip and send them to Mrs. Balogh — each one is worth 10¢

Join the Drink Pouch Brigade
Billions of drink pouches end up in landfills across this beautiful country every year. In conjunction with Terracycle, we can recycle those pouches into new items such as pencils and tote bags. Terracycle will donate $.02 for every pouch you turn in. So please return them to your child's teacher because every bit counts!

The 50 /50 Club
Join our SMSJ 50/50 Club for 2009/2010 with more chances to win prizes! Your $30.00 membership enters you in drawings totaling $2,075.00 while supporting the students of SMSJ at the same time! Each month, from October to May, our club will draw two (2) $50.00 winners. In addition, six (6) grand prizes will be awarded in May.
